Landscape photography is a passion of mine. Living in beautiful North Devon I have access to the incredible North Devon and Cornish coastline with spectacular views, not to forget the strange and often sparse farming and rural scenes in the area. Many of my photographs are available to purchase on request.
It is important to get to know your photographer. Building a good raport with your photographer will lead to a better experience and thus more natural photographs Photography is a passion, not a job. I enjoy taking photographs and since childhood have striven to perfect my skills and knowledge. I thoroughly enjoy meeting and working with people, I find it easy to get along with almost everyone as I am easygoing, friendly and professional in my approach. I studied Art for “A levels” where I gained an “A” grade, moving on to Engineering Systems at University. At that time computer aided design and graphics were in their infancy and I instantly became enthused with digital imagery. I started my career as a Designer, working with images and quickly moved to Digital cameras. My passion for photography is a gift from my father who was an expert photographer and developed his own work. As a child I would follow my father around locations such as Bristol Zoo with my Kodak instant 24, taking advice on photographing the animals. Over time my equipment became more advanced as my enthusiasm and ability improved. A few years ago I made the leap into professional photography, deciding to make a career out of a passion. I run a voluntary Photography club for the children at Woolsery, my local primary School, where children in classes three to five enjoy an hour a week of fun with cameras with a little bit of learning to help to take a better picture. My profile picture was taken by the pupils in the club on a nice sunny day in the school playing feild where they experimented with a gold reflector, noticing how different effects could be achieved depending on where it was angled. I then converted the image to black and white, preferred by the majority of the club |

Children are often a very important part of your wedding. I spend some time just watching for their personalities to shine, try to capture them as they are rather than ask them to pose for a picture, resulting in natural candid shots that you will love.
I use the best full frame Digital camera. I can convert virtually any photograph into a tastefull sepia tone or pure black ande white for you should you desire. I often make a copy of selected photographs with multiple effects for you. You choose the one for the album!
I do not simply concentrate on the Bride and Groom to get good portfolio shots for myself. Your family and friends are an important part of your day, I make it my goal to capture some special moments with your wedding party.
Rather than ask you to run through a feild, or paddle in the sea in your wedding dress I prefer to capture the magic, tender moments between two people in love on their special day. The resulting images are natural, candid and special.
Its your special day, to that end I do not make you run through hoops or take up a lot of your time. I aim to capture the moments that you will cherish forever.
